What this actually is
Erevna’s regular batches are taught by its own five faculty in Secunderabad, led by the founder. Separately, for senior-grade Maths and Science, we can arrange a tutor drawn from IIT, NIT or BITS Pilani — a current student or an alumnus — for online classes.
It is available on request, not as standard. We would rather say that plainly than imply every batch is staffed this way. If you want it, ask when you enquire and we will tell you honestly what is available for your child’s subject and grade.
When it genuinely helps
- Grade 11 and 12 Maths. Calculus, vectors and probability at senior-secondary depth, taught by someone who used it recently and at volume.
- Physics numericals. The specific skill of turning a worded problem into equations, which is where most Grade 11-12 marks are lost.
- A student who wants stretching. Some students are not struggling — they are bored. That is a different problem and needs a different tutor.
When it does not
Being straight about this, because it is the same point our own guide on choosing a tuition centre makes: a degree is not a teaching method. For Grade 7 Science, or for a student who has lost confidence and needs patience, an experienced school teacher is usually the better choice — and that is what our core faculty are.
An institute badge tells you someone learned the subject. It does not tell you they can teach a thirteen-year-old who is frightened of it. Pick the tutor for the problem, not for the letterhead.

Are all Erevna teachers from IIT, NIT or BITS?
No. Erevna’s regular batches are taught by its own faculty of 5 subject teachers in Secunderabad, led by founder Khairun Shaik (M.Sc, B.Ed). IIT, NIT and BITS tutors are available on request for senior-grade Maths and Science online, subject to availability.
Can I request an IIT tutor for my child?
Ask when you enquire. For Grade 11 and 12 Maths and Science we will tell you what is currently available. For younger grades or other subjects we will usually recommend our own faculty instead, and explain why.

Do you provide JEE or NEET coaching?
Erevna is a school-syllabus tuition centre, not an entrance-exam institute. We coach CBSE, ICSE, SSC, IGCSE, IB and A-Level school syllabi. Because CBSE runs on NCERT, strong Grade 11 and 12 CBSE Maths and Science does build the foundation entrance preparation sits on — but we do not run dedicated JEE or NEET batches, and you should be wary of a tuition centre that claims to do both well.
