Mathematics tuition for Grades 1-12

Maths is the subject where gaps compound. A student weak on fractions in Grade 6 is not weak at algebra in Grade 8 — they are still weak on fractions. Most of the work is finding the year the gap opened and closing it, not re-teaching the current chapter louder.

How a Mathematics batch runs

  1. Find the gap firstBefore teaching this term’s chapter, we work out which earlier topics are missing. In Mathematics this is usually where the real problem is.
  2. Track the schoolTeaching follows your child’s own textbook and school sequence, so tuition reinforces this week’s lesson rather than running a parallel course.
  3. Written work, markedProblems and answers are written out, marked, and returned with corrections — not discussed and forgotten.
  4. Test, then diagnoseEach unit ends in a test. The score is analysed to name the topic that failed, and the next week targets it.

Mathematics by board

The syllabus, exam pattern and marking scheme differ by board, and so does the teaching. Erevna covers CBSE, ICSE, SSC, IGCSE, IB, A-Level for this subject.

Online Mathematics classes

Every Mathematics batch is also taught live online, in the same small-group format. Written work goes in as photos or scans and comes back marked. See how online classes work.

Frequently asked questions

My child is in Grade 9 and suddenly failing Maths. What is going on?

Almost always an unclosed gap from Grade 7 or 8 rather than the Grade 9 syllabus itself. Algebra and geometry stop being forgiving at that point. The fix is a diagnostic of which specific topics are missing, then closing them alongside the current chapter — which is what the first two weeks of a Maths batch here are spent doing.

Should my child take CBSE Maths Standard or Maths Basic in Class 10?

Standard if they intend to continue Maths in Class 11, Basic if they genuinely do not. It is a consequential choice because Basic closes the door on Maths in senior secondary without a compartment exam. We will advise honestly based on their marks rather than pushing Standard by default.

Do you offer one-to-one Mathematics tuition?

Yes. Small batches are the default because students learn from each other’s questions, but one-to-one Mathematics classes are available where a student needs them. Timings and fees differ.

What does Mathematics tuition cost?

Fees depend on grade, board, subject count and whether classes are offline or online. Call +91 99595 39486 or email erevnalearningcenter@gmail.com for the current fee structure.

Can my child take only Mathematics and nothing else?

Yes — single-subject students are normal here, and many take only Mathematics.
